Public talk exploring the fiddle and dance traditions of James Bay and their historical connections with Scotland from the days of the fur trade. Followed by the screening of the National Film Board documentary, ‘The Fiddlers of James Bay’.

There will be an opportunity to view the photographic exhibition, ‘The Cree Fiddlers of James Bay’ during the event.
